No one ever messaged back
Is that me or do you have five solid interesting messages to somebody and then it's like pulling an arm and a leg to get a reply back? And it's not like I can talk to five or six people at a time because that gets way too confusing for me so I usually only stick to one or two people until one of us unmatches the other. And I really don't like unmatching people so it takes several days of bad communication before I finally cut them off and move on. But it's really starting to feel like chivalry is dead and communication is deader.

My experience on Boo is: ghosting. Lots of ghosting. Relative to other apps people quit quickly. I recognize your points and people reacting slowly creates bad communication by itself due to feedback delays. What if you would meet someone in real life and they would always take a day to react? Ok im not perfect either but at least I try to start meaningful conversations with good communication😇. (edited)

That's quite simple to explain i guess, is the "theory of abundance". Having this amount of dating apps and people, we think that finally we will be able to get the "right" one. So we just keep searching, without going deeper in the knowledge with anyone, just touching the surface But, the best things in life happens when you start to scratch the surface To find gold in nature you need to dig To find truffles you need to dig To find gems you need to dig So... why we are convinced to find "miss right" or "mr right", just staying on the surface ?

I like to look at this as being at a giant never-ending social event. You're going to strike up conversations with different people at different times and sometimes the conversation goes on for days and some just kind of peter out. You can't take it personally. I try and just let that ebb and flow happen naturally keep my side of the street as clean as I can. And be honest with not only other people but with myself.

Maybe I'm not made for this online dating/interaction thing. I'm a busy person with little interaction online nowadays. I simply use it when im bored or wishing for something interesting (anything at this point) to happen. Especially an age of faking everything and you don't know who is real until you meet them. I'm not sure. Maybe intimidation or social anxiety? (I know that's my struggle). But yeah I've had similar experiences but mine are most likely different from yours so it's hard to tell sometimes. To me, it seems people are just cruising for options on the shelf and leaving the store empty-handed if they don't find anything they like. (or other reasons perhaps) I'd say it's perhaps not you, personally. (maybe? I'm not going to just assume private conversations) all we can hope to do is keep trying until something special happens eventually.

So I got blocked by someone cause I asked them to stop making passive aggressive posts about me and talking about me to people on here because I told them it's their personal responsibility to communicate to people they are upset and annoyed with.
Is that a normal response? I get it that opinions aren't always wanted and they can disagree with me but i don't tolerate people throwing fits over me calling out harmful behaviour especially when they are 12 years my senior.
