If I were in such a situation, I imagine the sense of loss would be immense, accompanied by deep regret. Regret for not matching her efforts, for not valuing her presence as much as she valued mine, and for taking her love and care for granted until it was too late. Well this exact thing happened to me but only in the place of the girl there is my mom she passed away 2 years ago and I still feel the guilt of not treating her properly there is never a day goes by without me thinking about her and feeling the regret. I think it would be something similar to that same feeling when you lose your partner and you weren't able to give time to them. So please take care of people close to you no matter how busy or occupied you are.

I will be honest with you, I have no idea who your referring to. If you mean a loved one sure, but I can’t imagine a stranger or a friend treating you this way. Now to how I would react. I would be sadden, attend her funeral, met others who meant something to her and moved on. I would appreciate everything that they did, but I would need to move on in my life. I would hope if the situation was reversed they would do the same and not something else.
