Someone reappears in my life, he had been trying since past 4 years, after a long time he had gain the knowledge what horror he had done and how he had wronged, all these times he had appears always with an apology, a deserved apology. I still remember those days. Those days when my pillows used to wet with tears and my voice used to sound miserable. It's important to recognise the journey I had already taken to heal alone. It's a powerful reminder that closure doesn't always come from others, it often comes from within. During that time I likey have had to confront the pain, process the emotions, and ultimately I found peace and collected all the broken pieces of my and glued it with my own hand. This personal growth is invaluable and demonstrate my strength and resilience. Acknowledging an overdue apology can be too much complex and too much confusing. On one hand, it's validating to hear someone recognise their past mistakes. On the other hand, it stired up old emotions I had caged somewhere within. But I remembered, I've already done the hard work to move on from that past. An apology, I appreciated, but it doesn't undo the journey I had taken on by my own. It's crucial to maintain the boundaries I've set. These boundaries are a testament to my growth and self-respect. I politely acknowledged the apology but I affirmed that I had already found my closure, I'm not only protecting my peace but also reinforcing the importance of self-healing. Why I'm sharing my story, is just to spread an awareness or you can say a suggestion whatever. If someone apologize for their deeds accept it but don't forget what he/she had done before and the way they hurt you, broke you into pieces and left you in the darty floor. Just accept their apologies and move on. It's doesn't make sense to stand on the same ground, which fall down when you believed it won't and depended onto it blindly.
