Depends on your definition of introversion / extraversion. In my years of life, i had noticed three different definitions, all of which lead me to introvert. 1) introvert = someone who prefers being indoors, rather than outdoors 2) introvert = someone who is more shy or reserved and often doesn't speak their mind; usually has a limit of how much socializing can occur within a perood of time 3) introvert = someone who can express themselves better through writing rather than speaking (a professor gave this definition, and i've never seen it elsewhere, but i also identify as an introvert in this sense) With definition 1, there's not really any way to flip the switch between introversion and extraversion. I mean, i guess your video game character can be an extravert that likes to explore. Definition 2: absolutely. At some point, probably around middle school, i was some social butterfly in the online world. My online persona did not match my real worldness at all. I guess with Boo, i'm kind of reviving that version of me? It definitely can get overwhelming, though, and a recharge may be necessary. Definition 3: like the first definition, you can't really change it. You either type better or speak better. Going online can help you identify which you are better at.

I get that totally. I find when I'm talking to people in person that there's so much going on (so much "noise") that it's like my brain needs that big downtime afterward to recover. But with online communication you don't get all that "noise" if that makes sense.
