First time trying a weighted Nordic curl. Well. I can do them hahaha

At that time I had searched the internet up and down, in and out, and still never found anyone else that ever did this, and I think two weeks later I did three repetitions and I'm still as far as I know the only one to ever do it, first and last. Y-Raise Nordic hamstring curl or the JoeJo curl lol I've also done these with weight and fully extended

For real for real, most people can easily cut down and have a 6pack, even if it's shallow, but it takes tons and tonnes of work to develop resillient and scheckxy hammies

Clean Jerk and Caveman cossack squats. RDLs super sets with double bones squats was great, then swinging this club behind my back and doing 34 lunges outside, I then switch sides and did 34 lunges again, and once the pump in my quads died down I was able to do these and some Cossack RDLs, all done with the style of power

Hang power clean to below the knees clean to 3 front squats built up to a manageable heavy set
4 sprints
360° caveman squats to these gamma cast front lunges (club is 35lbs/15.9kgs)

Ramping Up

Got a new pair of gym equipment, to further add wobble to the squat. Uclips, great for use on barbells, dumbbells, and kettlebells. Whether landmines, dips, pull ups, belt squats, or hurricane bar squats seen here. Got the Titan pulling blocks swinging, plates dangling and dumbbells rocking. Love it!

Sunday's Funday

Going from similar blocks to a a rebuilding/re-enforcement block. Today, Nordic hamstring curls, as usual, then kang squats. Gonna see if I can build up close to my good-morning weight, then Anderson Squats (pin squats), hip thrusts, then grabbing my OmniStrap for hamstring curls, before heading back outside, bringing my clubs this time vs my tubular band. LFG!

So I can Nordic curl to the floor with weight plates held against my chest, did the first ever Y raise Nordic hamstring curl, and a week later 2sets of 3 Y raise curls, but......this 10kg 22lb club....omg...used the pads for 45° flexion holding bell one handed on back, using my 1arm push up skills (I can do them on my finger tips) and then here seen is me trying front holding and just static pausing OMG the TENSION! My hammies may be sore until Wednesday's snatch grip&dumbbell RDLs.....

Non-ab-rolling

Had re-learned the RDL months ago. The cue of pushing the 🍑 to the corner of the ceiling was a cue I've never known, much much better than just the hinge alone, and boy do the hamstrings love it. My current 4x12 weight with consistent form

Never ever skip leg day. Most important to train for a myriad of reasons. Still missing my hyper extension bench, new one ordered before starting leg day. Makeshift kegs lol did RDLs, then RDL Kang squat complexes, then kang squat to keg squat complexes, then went up in weight for keg squats. This is above my bodyweight. Only doing 5 speedy reps per set.

Haven't done these all year, Idky, yet I did weighted Nordic curls again, some squats, worked up to 2.5xBW seen here for 5 easy reps, then prisoner lunges for 3mins as a burn out. #friendsdontletfriendsskiplegday

Tomorrow is a speed/skills day, cleans, maybe thrusters, Viking-press front squats, kettlebell swings, reverse hyper extensions, then some clubbell medleys. Let's get it!

Warmed up with fizzio Swiss ball bridge curls, 2 sets of 7 regular, 7 frog, and 7 regular again, and finished the day with sumo stance single leg RDLs. Hamstring comes in two's like biceps. Find them and fry them! 🐸

4x4x25, haven't done Hindu squats in breathing-sbreathing-squats style in months, back is tired from yesterday's bar pressing (I prefer the log) so I swapped HEAVY kettlebell swings for kettlebell Hindu squats #wakeupchooseviolence

Deloads are necessary. One thing I've learned over the years, if you want to prevent plateaus, injuries and stale training, you Must regulate intensity. Build build build, basics. Build build build, basics. There are many different ways to get stimulus and results, and a deload week helps keep you ready for the next cycle/phase

Deload

After everything, 6 rounds of alternating shrimp squats (5ea) with my 14kg clubbell supersetted with alternating pistol squats (2ea) with this 6kg clubbell. Fun fun 😅

Finisher Sets

Did the math, took my current 5x5 working weight, noticed it was just under 1.5xBW so I added 5lbs, now I'm doing 5x5@1.5xBW when, apparently, only 5% of men can squat 1.5xBodyWeight and I'm only 25lbs from doing 2xBW, again, something I haven't done since 2019. Let's fuhcking goooooooooo
