Relationships are hard. Granted they aren't going to be all the time. At least they shouldn't be that is. But love takes work and cultivation to grow and be maintained. The ideology that if you're with "the right person" it will make things easier is honestly a bit on the naive side. Last time I checked we don't live in a land where the lakes are honey and the clouds rain milk. 🙄 (edited)

I respectfully disagree. Some aspects of a romantic relationship will be very hard because humans are complex and dynamic. For example: Learning how to be emotionally vulnerable with your partner will be hard. Learning how to trust your partner will be hard. Learning how to have difficult conversations and resolve conflicts properly with your partner will be hard. Learning how to balance spending quality time with your partner and spending time apart will be hard. Learning how to find tune your intimacy and physical chemistry into consistent mutually enjoyable love making will be hard. Learning how to be a good partner to them without hurting their feelings or forgetting the most important details. There are so many things about romantic compatibility that are difficult because your attachment to your partner will reveal all types of things about each other. Both good and bad. You will observe all of their bad habits, gross bodily functions, traumas, triggers, and intense emotions. They will also observe yours. You will see them at their worst and their best. They will see you at your worst and best. You will be annoyed with them, angry with them, cry because of them, and they'll make you happy, make you laugh, make you crave them. Relationships are difficult but they are so beautiful when you have someone who wants it just as bad as you do.

I gotta say I agree wholeheartedly. I used to think relationships are hard work, but when you find the right person everything just clicks and even when you hit the lows things just feel easy

If you have an easy relationship then it's not really a relationship. Relationships are supposed to be challenging because it.proves that if you can get through the rough patches then you're meant to be. If you have a very easy relationship with no issues, the moment it gets challenged, there's a very high chance it'll fall apart

Every relationship is hard at first considering both members are starting out for the first time unsure of what's going to happen throughout the course of their relationship, it's not much of the person rather than the reason as to why they may distance themselves or separate entirely over something the other doesn't yet know about until the person they're with tells them, so to say that when there are more reasons behind it it should be to look more into what you want to say before speaking it out.

I think a relationship takes work, it will be easy at times but hard at other times. If it lasts a long time you will both change physically and emotionally over time. Maybe someone gets a dad bod, or a kid leaves you a different shape, or a crazy spontaneous person slows down or mellowsna a bit. Maybe roles will reverse at times, or sickness will strike... And a lot of negotiations will take place. That's ok though, that's life and if you do it right, you'll make it work together.

Relationships are hard, you have to give many things and respect your partner. But i think that when the bad moments appear, your will know the type of relation you have with your girlfriend or boyfriend.

I 100% disagree. Anything worthwhile is difficult. Relationships can be extremely rewarding. If it's easy it's probably unhealthy, because one party or another isn't doing the required work. I think I might understand where OP is coming from; dark types tend to make relationships harder than they need to be as a means of seizing control. This doesn't mean that every difficult relationship is with the wrong person.

True, it's not hard if you know what you're looking for, easily reject that which does not suit you, and can communicate good and often enough to garner attention. But most of us don't have these abilities. It takes years and decades to develope them when you don't affinity for these abilities or simply don't inherently have them. So you're wrong for those that don't have those 3 abilities. You're wrong and right.
