Disappointment is the result of expectations. There is inherently nothing wrong with giving your all, and in all honesty that should be celebrated. However it is important to note most things aren't mirrors, and it is unlikely that what you put out into the world will be reflected back in an equal manner. Some will reflect back with less than you put in, and some may even reflect back with more than you put in. You just have to be ok knowing that, and go all in anyway.

Please don't ever think that. It is literally all about the vibes. Either you vibe with someone or you don't. There is no more to it. Your brain & ego is one thing. I’ve had similar problem and I still work on it. It’s nothing wrong with you, but you give a lot and expect something similar in return. Lower your expectations to non and you’ll never be disappointed. The fact that you do something for someone and you don’t feel appreciated or acknowledged brings you nothing, but unrealistic self doubt and self inflicted struggle. Be mindful of that in the present or future 🙂
