I would prefer that it isn't. Who wouldn't! The fact is, that we don't control falling in love. It's a natural phenomenon. We can't simply wish ourselves out if it. If, then, you really don't wish to end up in a long distance relationship, you'd fo well to avoid meeting strangers online. For if you do, you run a small but possible risk of falling in love with someone. You'd either be in a relationship with them or for the sake of not wanting a long distance relationship, refrain, and therefore staying back from a strong desire. I have just lost my girlfriend, she who shared a long distance relationship with me for 5 years. My ex and I broke up, for though we truly loved each other, there were differences in values and morals, and she gave up. She wasn't willing to meet in the middle, nor was i to sell myself to someone who as it seems wasn't quite right for me, despite my deep love for her. If I love someone, I wouldn't use distance as an excuse for giving up. Yet, I don't intend to get in one, and thus I shall focus on my community. If I get in one, then is get in one and accept it.
