Preferred communication style

This is why I prefer in person or video chats over texting and phone calls: "Seeing someone's face while you talk can help with complex post-traumatic stress disorder. Eye contact or facial cues can make you feel safe."

C-PTSD

This explains why I get drained around high energy people: "People with complex PTSD struggle around high-energy people because their nervous systems are constantly on alert, processing loud sounds and fast movements as danger, and feeling drained by the extra social effort required."

Stress

This is spot on "Adults who experienced high stress in childhood often actively avoid stress, leading to patterns like hypervigilance, overfunctioning, and emotional shutdown. While they deeply desire peace, their nervous systems may remain on high alert."

Anxiety and Insomnia is always a fun mix.

I do wish i could have one night where I sleep through it.

Social anxiety

I know this oh too well: "It makes complete sense that you would feel awkward if you have social anxiety. When your brain is experiencing a fight-or-flight response in social settings, it is incredibly difficult to focus on being smooth or saying the perfect thing."
