Wow. I thought doing elliptical and cardio would make jumping rope a breeze. Absolutely not. Unfortunately, couldn't do a full 30 mins because did it during my lunch. I had to eat still. But 23 mins + cool down (5 mins, pacing for heart health to gradually get my heart rate down) will be doing this… (edited) read more

Apparently my heart rate goes from resting to 160 in about 2 minutes on a stair stepper, so I think I need to work my way up to it. Suggestions for something to help me move that direction? Maybe I'll try an elliptical next time...
This is where my soul finds peace Dancing like sunlight upon the water Oceans of thought lost To the calm of the moment A light breeze A warm Sun The Earth breathes out An exhalation of anxieties Swirls beyond my reach Oh where have you been My blue eyed son? Far and wide In waking… read more
Galaxies are vast systems of stars, gas, dust, and dark matter held together by gravity. They come in various shapes and sizes, with the most common being spiral, elliptical, and irregular. May was Mental Health Awareness Month — and also my birth month. So I decided to celebrate me in the healthiest way possible. Over 40, juggling a full-time job and full-time single parenting, I realized that health, strength, and peace of mind are no longer luxuries — they’re non-negotiables for… read more

Had a great run today on my elliptical, feeling pretty pumped! Started running regularly about a year ago, had trouble getting much more than 2 miles in 30 mins but now I can consistently do 4 if I push myself 😁 It's been a lot of fun seeing myself get better and better hehe - all that is to say,… read more

I understand that if the sun were to suddenly vanish, we here on earth will still continue to see it for 8 minutes…but my question is, will earth continue along its elliptical orbit for 8 minutes? Or will that take longer? Though doubtful, will earth be flung off instantaneously 🤔?
- Worked out (only about 6 minutes on the elliptical, haven't done anything for months) - then headed down to the sauna for about 10 minutes - get comfortable, good posture, breathe deep, - count of 3 in through the nose, count of 3 out through the mouth (that's what works for me) Come join me… (edited) read more
Got my Samsung Watch 4 three years ago and finally decided to wear it to the gym today. Boy, was I in for a surprise! 🚀 I wanted to see how accurate the elliptical's built-in heart rate monitors were, and let me tell you, my mind was blown! 🤯 Turns out, my weight lifting routine burns around 500… read more

Single star looking to become a binary star system... Nothing serious maybe an irregular orbit or some highly elliptical conversation

I'm working on this pet project but I have no one to talk seriously about it. So I thought about sharing it here as a letter in a bottle. I work with a complex ever changing (growing?) IT environment. Is hard to get track of infrastructure and most of the time things end up in the team gathering… read more

The elliptical is just good, classic cardio, but it's the hip thrusts that make me feel shy. Such an invigorating motion. At least it's an effective exercise! Anyone know some other moves I should use at the gym? I'm still pretty new at this stuff.
