Well I've recently gotten out of a relationship I've been in for the last 6 months. It's been an absolute Rollercoaster ride. The guy has not worked the entire relationship and doesn't have a car. His dream is to be a full time tattoo artist and he is very talented so I have been trying to support him the way I knew how by paying for everything and allowing him to use my car. Except he hasn't been doing any tattooing mostly going to the gym several times a day and then coming back to my home and eating all my food. He moved in almost immediately because he lived with his mom but never helped with bills. He would constantly leave me and break up with me when I tried talking to him about getting a job and helping out with bills. He has talked to girls behind my back and not once taking me on a date. There are more things I could go on and on but I'll leave it there haha. No of course I have left him and he is doing everything he can to beg me for another chance. He is promising he will change and do all these things but I've given him so many chances and I'm fed up. It's hard because he wasn't a good bf to me but he was my best friend if that makes sense. I'm just venting here

Hey Chells, good for your for recognizing that you deserve better. You can't hold the relationship up yourself all the time. At some point, we have weakness and need our partners to be present for our needs. It's not ok to have your needs neglected. He's wasn't the right person, nor was he mature. He's most likely not gonna change and doesn't sound very ambitious. Not sure how old he is, but by the time you're 25, your brain finishes maturing and the habits you acquired are not likely to change much due to the brain pathways you created. Those habits are very hardwired.
