Are people still dating these days?
I don’t understand how swiping and talking on the internet is called “dating” these days. It’s just easy to swipe left and right or even delete you in an instant no matter how genuine you are. It’s just sad how nice and friendly you are and just wanting to have a wholesome time on the net. I just had an experience of being deleted by someone whom I thought would stay a little longer lol. I thought we kinda hit it off. I had a good time talking with that person btw and after exchanging messages and waiting for his reply he deleted me and I didn’t know what I did wrong! Good thing I was trained by so many people now, I couldn’t care any less. I used to get so upset and hurt everytime it happens. It’s okay, not my loss anyway! That deals a lot of damage, I had a similar experience yesterday, I don't understand how some people think it's ok to speak to someone for one day and then just leaves. They do, but it's kinda difficult...These apps are just made to be the ice breakers, a thing to get to know one another before setting up a date...but since we all have trust issues, traumatic experiences, abuse experiences...and etc... It becomes very difficult to date...

It happened to me too couple of times! Not knowing where I did wrong and all I thought what we had was special. The thing is, men are so persistent when they just met the girl then ran away after she got interested and found her not challenging anymore. Idk, maybe just my own thoughts lol. But don't lose hope yet, many gentlemen out there will choose you over and over again a hundred times more because of your worth 🤍 (edited)

I know I'm trying my best in being straight forward with people and not hiding anything about me. The whole online dating thing is still a new concept to me but regardless I try to pass on positivity as I go along and I highly understand some people just want to be friends also which is understandable as well. Also I'm glad you no longer get hurt by the fact that people just up and leave just like that. You are 100% right though it is there loss even though I'm pretty sure you don't need to hear it from me. 😅
