Well I guess I can ask the same question does a woman know what she wants. I mean I have been cheated on so many times cause he was pretty. I think the better question is do people really know if they want to spend the rest of there life with someone it's not gender specific. I have been with my wife for almost 7 years now and I couldn't see myself having another she is my life. Sticking something like this to just one gender is crazy both genders don't know wtf they want half the time.

In my experience yea. Like it takes a man who knows himself to know it which I think is where the loss is. A lot of guys think they truly understand themselves and truly know who they are when they simply don't. They then spend time they should have spent understanding their own emotions and thought processes on understanding someone else. This creates a lot of problems cause then they may believe they want to be with that person but the truth is they don't know if they are "compatible" or if their two personalities work together.

I don't think any guy can speak for all men, but personally I do think there can be a moment where that mindset clicks. It's not something that's clear immediately in a relationship. It's a shift in expectation from "oh damn I love this person and I want to be with them" to "I'm convinced I can love and be with this person forever." Of course that can also change as people break up all time.

We see the woman we'd like to start having a life with and spend time building that life with you. We see the woman we hope will be the partner we get to be old with and look back on the life we had happily.
