tell me about your favorite anime:)
hi!! so I was thinking to ask, what's your favourite anime and why? what do you like about it or is there something that you hate about your favourite anime? tell me about it, i'm so curious if I were to answer i'd say my fav one (as in the last 2 years since i've watched it) is banana fish, i love how realistic it is and how they show how the real world actually is. it had a huuuuge impact over me, meaning that I cried over it for 8 months haha, whenever I saw a panel or scene or just heard of *BANANA FISH* I would start tearing up ;-; the thing I hate is that many people don't watch it because they see it as a "BL" anime when it's not even classified as a BL. more people have to see it and see the true colors of the world being put in an anime which, I, myself find it a masterpiece ^^

If we are talking mainstream ima say naruto. The animation didn't start out the greatest but the vibes was there. The characters for the most part all had touching backgrounds and truly made me feel for them when they were going through it. The action scenes had some iconic fights the use of the power system also iconic and varies. But if we aren't talking mainstream I'd say hitman reborn or princess jellyfish.

Re:zero, at first I dropped due to fantasy part. Wasn't into that at first. Then gave it a second chance fell in love. Live by the dark anime, but the characters what drawn me in. Especially the sins! Though a new one took its place after so many years!!! Chainsaw man has stolen the throne. Now besides gruesome anime, I love everything. Romance actually most watched π my favorite in that section would be Oregairu. Characters, story and with me resonating with the mc lil.

Gotta be Violet Evergarden. I'd say FMA but man, Violet Evergarden is just so beautiful and such an amazing story. It's slow but very impactful. It holds a special place in my heart so it's gotta be my #1. Definitely recommend it to anyone.

I really enjoy call of the night. It was something out of my comfort zone but I decided to give it a try. I found it really funny and cute and absolutely loved the artstyle. The whole anime was a pleasure to my eyes, and it was different to watch a romance. Honestly it helped me ease into anime a lot more, and I loved every moment of it π

Kaiji Ultimate Survivor: The reason I love it also is why is why my friends hate it and it's hard to show it to people- its slow. It gets the character in a terrifying hopeless situation and draws it out as long as possible. I find it engaging, it actually makes you feel like you are in the characters situation, because it just takes that emotion and holds it as long as it can. So 'if'yiu get into it, it's a powerful emotional experience. If you don't care, it's not just boring, it's dreadfully boring. It's similar to why I also love Serial Experiments Lain - It didn't 'feel' like a coherent story, but it was an experience. Not even a positive one, but a numbing one. I watched it through the night and it showed me again how art doesn't need to be mindless entertained, it can take you to another world and even feeling beaten down, lost and confused, it even a completely numbing experience was one of the most powerful feelings I had in years. Kaiji is also one if the inspirations behind Squid Games, as I understand. Anyone who watched Squid games will feel right at home in the world of Kaiji, except I thought the games were far more 'fair' in Kaiji.

Steins;gate... For every aspect.. the story, the characters, the symbolism, the thematic message... Just wish the rest of the work by the artists/writers came even a millimeter of the quality that stiens gate had... All that being said some high contenders would be mob psycho and mushoku tensie (edited)

Neon Genesis Evangelion is beautiful because it explores the theme of the inherent loneliness modern life imposes on some of us. Friendship really is one of the most rewarding and beautiful forms of human connection. It feels safer to close off and keep everyone at arms length, but it also results in failing to connect to others in the meaningful way.

Oregairu. I pretty much grew up as a loner, so I can relate easily to the main character, but they also have a lot of good character development throughout the series, which makes it an enjoyable watch. Its a high school setting, but it just feels like a whole different genre of show π€ On the other hand, Great Teacher Onizuka was hilarious ;3

To be honest it would be spilt into a few different ones depending on the mood. One would be Clanned foe the emotional aspect towards love interests. Another would be Case closed for its in depth story's for each episode. There is also Ouran host club for the love interests ones. Plus corpse party for it great horror tales.

One anime that popped from my head was The Great Pretender. I remember loving the anime because most of the anime that came out at the time always took place in Japan aka a school setting. It was so refreshing to see a different environment and one of them being in California! It was also fun seeing a bunch of con artists trying to outsmart terrible people for their money too :)

My favs are : DBZ, Soul eater, Haikyuu, Hunter x Hunter, and Spy x Family DBZ- because it was the first anime that I ever saw Soul eater- because I love the plot, and design style of it Haikyuu- because Volleyball is one of my favorite sports so I was over the moon to see a anime about it Hunter x Hunter- because I love the action packed episodes Spy x Family- mainly because Anna is adorable and I want to adopt her

I still old in my heart an undying love for Trigun, even thou it deeply saddened me they choose to stray from part of the manga and rush its end, but the values and message that it try to pass it is very close to my view of life. Full metal alchemist shocked me after seeing the newest version (closer to the manga and the original story than the first attempt) and their catch on greif and the fragility of human conviction in the face of adversity and tragedy made me love it.

Favorite mid or bad anime?
