No, that’s just leading them on. No bueno!

No. I'm terribly straight forward and I believe it's better for them in the long run.

No, it's the equivalent of lying to someone. You wouldn't be just lying to the person you are "dating", you'd be also lying to yourself.

What

No. It might be out of good intentions but ultimately very cruel in the end sadly.

No. It's better to tell them the truth than to keep leading them on. It might hurt them in the end.

2y

Absolutely not

2y

No. Would you want someone to go out with you out of pity? (edited)

2y

No.. If you want a relationship that will last you should be honest from the start.. dating someone you feel sorry for is an insult and disrespect to the person. Don't give hope to someone if you will just crush it in the end. 😊

Enough said

Nope, never. It's disrespectful, and cruel to that person. Especially if their feelings develops a lot. Plus, that would drain me and waste my time. Best to be honest with that person and reject them. 🧐

Nope

2y

No, that would be unethical and it wouldn't benefit either of us.

Peace be with you

2y

Absolutely not. If you approach someone with pity, you’ve decided that you are better than they are. And knowing how much I hate people who pity others, I would never subject someone else to being pitied when they should be having fun.

Depends on your definition of go out with. Like I'd take someone out for a dinner or a drink outta pity, but I wouldn't start a relationship for it

2y

Nahh

I did that once... it backfired.... She was depressed and desperate and she wanted to go on a date, she happened to be a good friend of mine. Afterward she got WAY clingy to the point where any conversation could send her into a depression spiral. It freaked me out. She bordered on the edge of suicidal and I just had to slowly ghost her over time to keep her safe. It took about 2 years of slow burn ghosting but eventually she found another guy and is happy. Way too much for me to handle tho. (edited)

I'd absolutely want to engage with them, but I would never want them to think I am actually interested if I am not, but regardless everyone deserves at least attention or an ear to listen.

2y

100% NO. I can still be nice and friendly but to go out with someone out of pity is like giving that person a false hope. Feeling pity for someone and giving them a false impression that you are attracted to them is no act of kindness. It is a toxic behaviour.

2y

nah I think it would be mean to go out with someone outta pity

2y

No, I think that’s not fair cos you’ll be wasting both of your time

2y

No

2y

OF COURSE. They always treat you real good too. Good date

2y

No because it's unbelievably cruel to do
