Sick of it!

Question

I’m so sick of being led on and tossed aside for someone else.

The past year has been the year of depression for me. Literally every time I find someone I vibe with, I’m replaced so easily by them. I don’t think I’ll ever find the person to start a family with and that sincerely upsets me because I just want to begin my love life beyond all the abuse and drama I’ve had over the last decade.

[Edit: I’m meaning both irl and online, it’s the same outcome no matter the platform]

Most people online are here for a quick hook up. They have no interest in anything beyond that. Most of the others are needy, clingy and damaged individuals who lack self worth and place all their self worth in you. It's not your fault, they know no better, and resort to damaging behaviour to reinforce what they believe about themselves.

Well online people are often treated like npcs, but then also tend to be the more socially inept (There is always space for more OW players if that's a platform you are on).
IRL my experience is that no-one wants to take the time to get to know someone.
They very accurately point out that life is fleeting and that what they really want is a connection, deep, meaningful and with the right person, but if they don't "feel it" then it's not worth trying to find.
However it's that act of trying to find it with someone that forges the connection that is desired, whilst a person might vibe quickly with someone else on some issues there may be large disconnects that are later found.

I think the issue is with today's culture, people don't know what loyalty looks like, they just want to have the next best thing, wearing their red flags like a mark of pride.

And worst of all, they don't learn from their mistakes, they laugh about it and find the next poor git to traumatise.

Well, at the end of the day, it's their loss, not yours. You have to embrace the fact that you're unique and not everyone can handle that. I used to be like you at some point in life and then I've realized that, you know what? It is what it is, so let's make the full of it. 
I've realized that, nowadays, no one wants a guy which comes at the end of the day tired, but genuinely willing to find out how was her day, if she's fine or not, maybe a "hey, let's watch/play something together" or even a kiss on the forehead as a "Hey, I've missed you today".
So I'd say keep your chin up, you'll find your guy. It's just a matter of time.

At the end you learn from your mistakes and everything that happens. It's ok to be alone maybe theres something better around the corner good things take time for now work on yourself..

Look for someone drama free and genuine its hard to find but they are out there you just have to look in the right places.

Usually make jokes but have a friend that keeps moving around because she keeps getting her heart broken. She just ran off to another rebound, I say the same thing I told her, probably get in just as much trouble but this is a from a place of love. If all they guys are the same check the source were your finding them. Maybe its a time to look outside what you think you want and in places and with people who you know have what you need but are beneath you are are not cool enough maybe they have a different opinion then you. I'm sorry to hear that it happened but just focus on yourself and get to know it more and love it like thats the most important thing there is, cuz it is.
