Nottingham City Council is Ableist. So it's been 2 years in total since I have been trying to present myself as homeless to the council due to needing to flee domestic violence but they have still failed and are still refusing to provide me any accommodation. Social Services assessed me as eligible for Assisted Housing due to me having Autism, ADHD, Mental Health and dyslexia...... Yet they they still did not place me in Assisted Housing so that I can flee domestic violence from my family. All I now is apparently they are placing me an Assisted Housing service called Fitzroy and that apparently the construction of the building would of been complete as they said at the end of November and we are now in December, they promised me throughout the whole time that I could move in straight after the construction has been completed which is now completed but they have still not provided me the move in date though. I even had to ask them if there is any people waiting for a spot before me in the building and if there is a queue but apparently according to what they said there is no people waiting before me and there is no queue so despite this why have I still not been provided the move in date by now.... I am so confused and dreading every second while I am still waiting... I'm skeptical wether or not to believe whether all these people are definitely being legit about giving me the accommodation or not?.... 🤨 I do not know what to expect... 🤷🏻‍♂️ I'm guessing they haven't given me the move in date because perhaps they are having second thoughts over giving me this accomodation and that they might have decided to deem me as ineligible or that my Autism is too high for their capacity? Is it safe for me to assume that they might not commit to the plan with giving me this accomodation at all? And that I will have to remain homeless trapped under my family's household to continue further to suffer further from domestic violence? Or will they still proceed with placing me in this assisted housing accomodation? Despite how the construction is now complete and there is no queue of any people waiting before me for a spot in the accommodation, I am baffled as to why they have still not gave me a move in date then 😕. The manager of Social Services is aware that I am still not satisfied with the current social worker I have and my wishes for how I still firmly wish for a different social worker followed by from all my complaints I have made regarding this. The managers response is that she is still not willing to change my social worker at this time and said it will apparently delay them providing me with the move in date for the accommodation, but I have tried to express to them throughout the whole time that I ment once they let me move in the accommodation that is when I wish for my social worker to be changed. Throughout the whole time since I have been homeless I have been trying to request for a different social worker throughout the whole time and they have still failed and refused to change my social worker and this isn't fair considering how she deliberately ignored my emails throughout the whole time when I needed support and how she deliberately used female gender information, language and pronouns on my needs assessment file even though I am a transgender male and only comfortable with male gender information, language and pronouns. She deliberately messed up my needs assessment file worser by adding cherry picked misleading false information regarding my mainstream housing method wishes when the Assisted Housing tenancy ends and despite the manager being aware of all this throughout the whole time they still refuse to accept that all the information on the needs assessment file is deliberately false and still refuse to enforce it to get put correctly as it should be and is still also refusing to take into account that I require a different social worker to manage my case. Does this mean they have changed their mind and that I won't get this accomodation? I do not know what to expect as they are still holding clarity from me and keeping me in the dark over knowledge and information regarding the accommodation move in date.
