I think some do it to feel seen. To capture a fleeting version of themselves that they want to hold on to—or show to others. It can be about confidence, or insecurity. Loneliness, or joy. Sometimes it’s about proving we existed in a moment. Other times, it’s just fun. Me, i see it as a fun self expression with some positivity notes. Good day fellas!

I don't often take profile pics, full dedicated outfit, makeup, and hair done even if it's subtle. So, I just post regular no makeup casual selfies to show how I look currently without committing to what I would consider should be my new profile pic most of the time lol. (edited)
