If you can rewind time at an instant then you could effectively pause time by rewinding over and over again. However, it reduces the meaning of any decision if you’re able to undo it. So I would chose pausing just to be able to live with myself, but rewind if I wanted the better ability. (edited)

I would actually say Rewind. Because if time is paused, everything you would want to interact with would be paused as well. Whereas with rewind, you can perform an action and always go back if you want to change it. Anything you would do in pause, you could do better in rewind. Also, rewind sounds like you could actually better the world. Pause sounds more.... molesty. 😅🤣
