I have, and I suppose I could still perceive life that way... I make a point in not having a ton of relationships that I haven't invested anything into or don't have the time to invest into because then there isn't anything to reap from it. Relationships are work and they shouldn't be taken lightly as they are the backbone of life. If you're with others and feel alone then you haven't been able to connect with and relate to those around you. Better to have one simple, honest and genuine connection than a plethora of nothings.
