Not alone in the Darkness
I felt a very strong compulsion to say this right now, so whoever needed to hear it please know it’s from the heart. If you are in a place where you feel alone, hopeless, helpless, like this world would be better off without you….please make one promise to yourself. Reach out to your safe person. If you don’t have anyone in your life that understands DM me (seriously) and I will sit in that darkness with you until you are safe enough to come out. No one should ever feel alone in the dark. No one should have to suffer that silence alone. So many of us have been there and it’s time we be there for each other. So please, ask those you love if they are ok and really listen. Do a buddy check on those you know have been struggling. Check in with yourself and if you start to wander down that road, reach out. But please, don’t sit alone.
