I have been through a long but shallow depression myself. What helped me was following a British phrase: every weather is soccer weather. Meaning that no matter how you feel and what’s happening around you, you go outside and play sports in the company of others. You refocus your brain on something very tangible, like the ball. And if you stick to it, you will feel better soon enough. Good luck!
