I think I'm done dating

Question

Everyone either cheats or gets cheated on. Dating used to be fun and safe but now you could be dating someone who's got like 4 others on the side. No respect with most people and it's made me feel like dating at my age is pointless. It's sad I'm only 31 and people older than me have adopted this mindset

There's good out there still. You just have to be somewhat picky and learn to sort out the weeds. But if you're not happy with yourself that's where you need to start. So you're not looking for something just to fill in.

Sometimes we don't know how we are inadvertently sabotaging ourselves. If you aren't seeing the manifestations that you're wanting to take place then you must spend more time opening up to who you truly are.

Ohh same I stopped dating like 2 years ago, and still don’t feel like I wanna go somewhere  not alone but with someone, i already can’t imagine that. My decision was more unconscious, I didn’t say “I’m done” I just felt that even chatting or conversation feel like going against myself. Dating in your 30s always felt strange, at least it did for me.. it's that awkward period where you can't decide if your still young or getting old. If you want to keep trying out all the things like at a buffet or start to moderate yourself. Dating is like a seesaw.

I won't lie it's hard to find someone that's actually going to be faithful in this age if instant gratification that they can get online form waves of simps. But it's still possible, I'm 36 about to be 37 and haven't given up yet.. lol

You have to look for the diamonds in the sand. If you're finding a lot of cheaters, then it's likely there are a lot of common traits between them and you've been subconsciously looking for them. It might help to get outside perspectives to help break the pattern.

30s is difficult. You get stuck with the 304 crowd looking for a man to bail her out of her poor choices in life. She needs a pay check and when she is done with you, then she will take half your stuff. Times we live in.
