Week 5 of regularly working out.

Last month I had gotten some real eye opening test results in terms of my health. I've always been overweight and out of shape, it's something that's always been on my mind. Heck, almost 10 years ago I tried to get in shape and got some really bad advice from a gym's personal trainer that ended with me collapsing and going to the hospital. I was honestly kinda afraid to try again... My recent blood work had shown I was close to becoming diabetic, my cholesterol was bad, and my testosterone was incredibly low. The doctor was kind but I seriously meditated on this when I got home. I decided to stop drinking soda entirely and switched to water and then Gatorade when at the gym. I started a weekly workout routine and now go to the gym 3 times a week for roughly an hour of cardio work. It wasn't hard as I had good motivation and wanted to change. It's hard but it's been a better experience. I went from 340 to ~325 pretty quickly but I seem to have stopped losing weight. I've heard that this is normal and weight loss will pick up again if I keep at it? I've also started to kinda like the "burn" during my workouts and the jellowey fee of my legs when getting off the bike and my arms when getting off the arm machine. It feels weird but I'm associated that limp feeling to progress and enjoy feeling it because it makes me feel like I'm making progress. I've also within the last week been experiencing what I think are called "second wind" moments. I'll feel like I'm at my limit, breathing hard and not feeling like I'm getting a full breath and then suddenly, without realizing it the workout starts to feel easier. Like I catch my breath and the exhaustion is gone even though I'm maintaining my pace. Its weird and kinda feels nice, like all my energy has been restored. On top of that, after about my third week I've noticed my appetite going down significantly. I'm eating a lot less and don't feel like I'm starving or in desperate need to eat. It's been really exciting because I feel less hungry. It's overall been such a different experience compared to when I tried 10 years ago. I think I can really do it! And then maybe when I lose this weight I will finally be attractive haha.
