That nagging feeling

Did you ever have that sudden feeling of loneliness, and its nagging at you.. And you try to find out what seems to be the cause, hoping to ease the feeling.. Maybe physiological, like hormones in disruption? Stress from work? Anxiety on the future plans? I can't point exactly what makes me feel this way.. I'm sure most of you had this, may I ask how you cope with it?

Unfortunately for me it isn't sudden. It is a constant feeling that does get worse in waves depending on certain triggers. Wish i had an answer for how to cope with it. Still trying to figure that out myself.

I don't try to cope with it, I try to fix it. A good conversation about anything with someone new and interesting seems to do it. One of these is bound to stick and be there tomorrow removing being alone. Meet people! :)

I have to deal with it very often as well...it's an inexplicable feeling. I try to spend more time in the nature and do the things I love to cope with it. Keeping myself busy and being productive helps a bit...

I just feel lonely for some time and as soon as I fully catch this feeling I try to think about good thinks and don't chain bad memories etc and get out of it fast, it is little bit harder when I am tired.

Honey,. God created as social beings. We need each other. When we help other people no matter how small it usually fills our innner being with hope happiness, even joy... Makes us feel happy and more social. Social isolation is a prison on a very personal scale. Mental health can also be something that our minds or body is experiencing..Getting the proper help from the right doctors can really make a difference. A few years back I Lost a very very dear friend of mine, Her name Rene, she was my wife, to Cancer. This crushed my heart and broke my spirit. For years I self medicated with drugs and alcohol. . Now by the Grace of God I got some help and i found out through mental health . That I had a depression problem...and I started taking Wellbutrin... fortunately for me I felt a change within three hours. .I felt better .. But I also learned when we are hurting from a bad relationship loss of a loved one . We like to isolate as people . Try to hide out pain...thus. .creating anti social behavior....this leads to depression, anxiety..ect. . so please Seek help. Mental health is something I would have never considered before. Wow I am sure glad someone cared enough to point me in that direction... I am learning to be more social. And trying not to isolate.. getting involved in my church and old age home ..visiting them lonely souls. And finding ways to help in our communities. Peace be with you

Ah.. the emptiness... i deal with it a lot. I find its nature a mystery, but i do know it stems from depression. Coping with it takes time and effort. To fill that void with a few bright lights, it takes even more effort to face that feeling.. best of luck to you.

I'm lonely as hell just about all the time haha. Just gotta find things to occupy your time and mind. I try to spend a lot of time in the gym, listening to music, or playing a good video game. Life is hard, but just know that you're not alone in feeling the way you do 💪

I try to ground me, remembering life is just a moment passing by, i put a Song that makes me feel good and try to dance for a while just to shake that feeling of of me. It usually works. Musictherapy

The more the year passes, the more I understand this kind of feeling. I guess since your personality type is the same as mine— it might be due to your views and what you see with the norm. Honestly sometimes I even think that it's just the hormones kicking in. But no matter how persistent these feelings are, it's better if you wouldn't let this take over you. Sometimes when I feel this, just sleeping makes the loneliness go away. I usually deal with my loneliness by distracting myself to other recreational activities, playing games, doing some of my favorite hobbies and working. Don't feel bad when you feel like this. I think loneliness is probably one of the topiv where all of us could relate too.

You don't deal with it, you let it do its thing, the feeling "wants to talk to someone", it wants to pass, talk to someone, get it off your chest. Listen to music and express it that way, I'm a very emotional person (not like that, I'm just very expressive and I feel everything out) and I "deal" with this feeling by grabbing its hand and walking it down its path

For me I journal or listen to music that reflects how I feel. I feel misunderstood by most people because they don't see what lies beneath the mask I wear each day unless I tell them. I've become better at being honest with people and my limits though but only those I trust. And believe me, I trust very few and what I choose to tell is on purpose most of the time.

You can overcome loneliness with nature. When you feel stress listen to the music given by a nature (sounds of air) When you feel anxiety feel the air on your terrace Correct answer can be controlling yourself thru meditation but not everyone has a time to do so then you can watch out stars and count them If you can't do any of above use a book and express your feeling to your book it may help you for atleast 50% to calm down .

For me, I learnt how to be alone and tbh its fine I like having people to talk with sometimes, I tend to make it philosofical all the time in everything (not trying to sound pretentious -.-), so I do connect with ppl quite well, but then, I also know that even if I am connected to someone, that connection is never forever it may be harsh to accept, but its life, and it has its own beauty; we are basically cells collecting experiences, interacting with others, but we are individuals forever (at least as long as we are alive I guess, but that is more subjective and out of scope from the topic)
