Latest interaction was interesting. A few in person dates. I asked that he plans the next date because I want to see what kind of things he would come up with. He suggests the date but i end up doing the research. I end up waiting almost 1h before he arrives, he had to run "an errand" at the exact time we had planned the date. I say something to him as lightly as i can, it's not cool. He takes no accountability. We get on the water, he stays behind. When i turn around, he's gone. I spend 40min paddling back, without crossing him. When i get to the boat house, he sends me a text " Going home, paddle was a good experience". Eventually, i reply that he didn't seem to want to communicate and i wish him good luck. He replies "we are compatible on some things but not others, let's stay in touch and be friends". (I expect communication from my friends too, that's not going to work). He is setting up a slow fade when i already said bye, makes no sense. (edited)

Because most women don't understand that it's infinitely harder for guys to receive love and attention moreso then women if they are at the same level of attractiveness. Sometimes telling the person that they aren't interested will cause them to lose companionship with that specific person. I personally think it's worse when women string men along and dump them in the "friend zone" without clarification and using them as emotional/financial/trauma tools.

People that "ghost or slow fade" don't really have any clue what they want in a relationship. They see something that attracts them and they grab for it. It can be an obviously shallow or shortsighted move, but they don't care because they see it as being what they always wanted. Then, as they get to know the person they realize that the person isn't the imaginary love of their life. They then "ghost or slow fade" because of guilt, ignorance, self consciousness, or just plain disrespect. If someone who knows what they want is talking to you and getting to know you, not just your daily grind but really shows interest in knowing you for you and how you got to this point in life, you will find that a connection will always form even if it is a platonic one.🤔😁👍 It's not about having better options. It's about not having a true interest to begin with. They just moved on to the next person. Until they are really prepared for and know what they are looking for, this will continue. I have met a lot of people like this in life. Some of them never figure it out. The biggest issue is that their actions make you jaded towards other guys. It creates a little voice of doubt concerning meeting someone. You deserve to find your Love in life.🤗😏😁 Don't let them get to you. They're just the fool's gold of the dating world😅. The slow fade is real common. I understand sometimes things don’t click but when you actually like someone and you think that other person likes you it just seems they are not interested all of a sudden or perhaps they like someone else better and instead of just saying that it’s never said.
