I didn’t want to bring politics into this, but I was genuinely traumatized when Trump was elected president, more so than any republican candidate in my lifetime. It conjured images of Lavos from Chrono Trigger in my mind complete with the caption “In the end, the future refused to change.” It was dystopian hearing the Mormon Tabernacle Choir performing at his inauguration. I honestly don’t think I have recovered since, and the rest of the USA still hasn’t for sure. Thank you for your time.

In history, or my history? In history, probably the deaths caused by communist china and how in just a decade or so they eliminated more than 60 million of their own just to maintain power. In my history, probably how I dealt with mom's death, or more specifically how I didn't have to. She was never exactly a bad mother per say, but there were many more incidents than I can count for when I was thrown under the bus by her or for her for my brother's sake and times when I was punished for his actions. There is a lot more, but it isn't the place to go into that here. Long story short, I wasn't devistaed that she was gone, but I played the part around dad as so he wouldn't feel alone while grieving for her. I just kinda felt nothing though.
