I need some encouragement
I work at a school. I've been picking up what seems like every bug that goes around. Between that and depression getting out of bed tends to be hard especially on the weekends when I don't have to get up early for work. It's easier to just lie there. Then I kick myself for wasting half a day. Any words of encouragement? Can anyone relate???

I can relate. I have CPTSD, Anxiety & Depression & the battle to get out of bed each day is real... but I manage to get myself up every day. So for this I'm grateful. My cat 🐈 helps a lot because she is very insistent & determined in the morning to see me get up, but I also have to do it for myself. I usually find one little thing that needs doing for my motivation, whatever that little thing may be & once I'm out of bed & I've had my coffee I'm up for the day... so I recommend finding one thing, no matter how small it might be, be the thing to motivate you up. It could be needing to eat, needing to send an email/text, having a household chores that needs doing, a self-care item (such as a shower/walk), anything that you can make your focus as a priority for that day. No matter how small, it really helps. ❤
