Definitely get an over the country vitamin d3 supplement, and do everything you can to get 1-2 hours of sunshine in your skin throughout the day. It will help. I'm 52 and been dealing with it for years.

Supposedly those lights help some people (wha are we, houseplants?). For some reason the seasonal depression hits me more the older I get. Even though I like winter where I live now - rain instead of snow. I dunno - my brain doesn't have to do me dirty at every turn, though 😮‍💨
