SOUND EFFECTS “what we say matters!”

Sound Effects: What we say truly matters. "Every word you speak carries weight, influencing those who hear them. Choose your words with care & consideration!” Choose Them Wisely! "Your words have a hidden power! They’re meanings having a real impact on everyone listening.” The statement "everything we say does matter, having a form of impact on everyone listening" emphasizes the importance of thoughtful and intentional communication. Our words have the power to shape perceptions, influence emotions, and even inspire action in those who hear them. Here are a few examples to further illustrate this idea: 1. Emotional Impact: Spiteful or hurtful words can leave lasting emotional scars on individuals. For instance, a child repeatedly hearing negative comments about their intelligence or appearance may develop low self-esteem and struggle with self-worth throughout their lives. On the other hand, encouraging and uplifting words can have a profound positive impact, boosting confidence, and motivating personal growth. 2. Relationships: In interpersonal relationships, our words carry immense weight. Careless or hurtful remarks can damage trust, create distance, and strain the connection between individuals. Conversely, kind and affirming words nurture trust, foster understanding, and strengthen bonds. By choosing our words carefully, we can promote healthy and meaningful relationships. 3. Workplace Environment: The words we use in professional settings have a significant impact on team dynamics and productivity. Negative or disrespectful language can create a hostile work environment, leading to decreased morale and collaboration. Conversely, fostering a culture of respect, gratitude, and open communication can contribute to a positive and productive workspace, where individuals feel valued and motivated to excel. 4. Public Discourse: In the realm of public discourse, the impact of our words is multiplied. Politicians, public figures, and influencers have the ability to shape public opinion and influence societal norms through their language. The words they choose can uplift and inspire, or they can perpetuate division and incite hostility. Understanding the power of their words is crucial for fostering a more respectful and inclusive society. To summarize, the statement highlights the undeniable impact of our words on those who hear them. It reminds us to choose our words carefully, considering the potential consequences and striving to use language that uplifts, inspires, and fosters healthy relationships. Effective communication requires thoughtfulness, empathy, and an awareness of the power language holds. The idea that our words have no impact and that they can't cause harm has long been echoed in the saying "sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me." However, recent insights have shed light on the detrimental effects of spiteful and hurtful comments. This is evident in the sayings we use to describe individuals who frequently engage in harsh language, such as having a sharp tongue or spitting venomous remarks. Given the harmful potential of our words, perhaps it's time we reevaluate the way our culture communicates. One fascinating area of study that demonstrates the profound influence of sound is cymatics, which explores the cause-and-effect relationship between sounds and their impact on the physical world. Through experiments, researchers have discovered that continuous exposure to various sounds and frequencies can create intricate and complex geometric patterns in particles. This discovery opens up a myriad of possibilities, particularly in the field of medicine. In particular, this newfound understanding of cymatics presents an exciting opportunity for medical researchers and scientists. It allows them to better comprehend how these sound-induced structures interact at a biological level, particularly within the realm of bio-acoustic sound medicine. This field of study emphasizes the belief that sounds imprint every single cell, a notion that finds increasing support from scientific research. The power of sound to influence cellular behavior is truly astonishing. By making simple adjustments to the frequency and amplitude of sounds, cells can be set in motion, guided to new positions, and even held in place. Acoustics have the potential to generate tissue that closely resembles natural cardiac tissue, providing hope for creating new tissue to replace damaged hearts. Furthermore, acoustics can also aid in the reconstruction of other organ tissue and blood vessels. Beyond its role in tissue regeneration, sound is also utilized for its ability to create harmony, cleanse, and release. These principles find application in the realm of science, where high-precision acoustical generators are used to harness the power of sound in various scientific endeavors. In conclusion, the notion that our words hold no weight and don't impact others is now being called into question. Similarly, the study of cymatics demonstrates the profound influence of sound on physical matter and has opened up new avenues of research in medicine. From guiding cells to creating tissue, sound's potential in the realm of healthcare is vast. Furthermore, it is a potent force for creating harmony and facilitating processes of cleansing and release. Through continued exploration, we can further unlock the potential of sound in our understanding of ourselves and the world around us.

Nice post, but those are not cymatic patterns of words, they are in fact patterns that are reacting to sound waves in specific frequencies, like 432Hz. These same patterns can be seen if we listen to music or binaural audio in specific frequencies and then record images of neural activity with an MRI scan.

Here are some famous quotes related to the topic of watching your words and the dangers of speaking in anger: 1. "Raise your words, not your voice. It is the rain that grows flowers, not thunder." - Rumi 2. "The tongue is the strongest muscle in the human body; use yours wisely." - Unknown 3. "Be careful with your words. Once they are said, they can only be forgiven, not forgotten." - Carl Sandburg 4. "Think twice before you speak, because your words and influence will plant the seed of either success or failure in the mind of another." - Napoleon Hill 5. "Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate, and to humble." - Yehuda Berg 6. "Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny." - Lao Tzu 7. "In the heat of anger, words are said that cannot be unsaid." - Ingrid Bergman 8. "The tongue can paint what the eyes can't see." - Chinese Proverb 9. "Be careful what you say. Words do not only describe reality. Words create reality." - Desmond Tutu 10. "Don't mix bad words with your bad mood. You'll have many opportunities to change a mood, but you'll never get the opportunity to replace the words you spoke." - Unknown Remember, these quotes remind us of the importance of thinking before we speak and being mindful of the impact our words can have, particularly in moments of anger or frustration.

So I got blocked by someone cause I asked them to stop making passive aggressive posts about me and talking about me to people on here because I told them it's their personal responsibility to communicate to people they are upset and annoyed with.

Is that a normal response? I get it that opinions aren't always wanted and they can disagree with me but i don't tolerate people throwing fits over me calling out harmful behaviour especially when they are 12 years my senior.

My biggest ick and the biggest red flag in my opinion.

Tone policing - I see it a lot irl and on here. As an autistic woman I have been subjected to it as lot and its an unfair power imbalance and tactic. Its basically when someone dismisses or discredits another person's argument based on how they express it, rather than engaging with the substance... (edited) read more

Is it just me or are US folk more susceptible to cult practices?

I have a theory that a reason for this is because the US lacks institutional foundations - in the UK we at least have top down resources where there's nhs for free healthcare, council housing, financial support for the vulnerable etc. Whereas the US is a great place to be rich and a terrible place...
