(I just need to throw up my thoughts somewhere 🤡) Lately I have just felt off again. Not exactly sad, not exactly empty, just disconnected from everything. My mind feels like a room I can’t leave, too loud, too quiet, too familiar to escape. I watch myself go through motions, making coffee, reading news, feeding the cat, and it all feels slightly off, like I’m watching someone else live my life. Like I’m moving through days that don’t quite feel real. One moment I can feel fine, everything feels electric and possible. Suddenly I’m spiraling for reasons I can’t even name. My mood keeps slipping through my fingers, like my mind packed its bags and forgot to take me with it. The guilt that comes with every missed call and unread message, knowing you care deeply about people, but simply don’t have the energy to exist in their world that day. It’s the loneliness that follows and the constant tug-of-war between wanting to be seen and wanting to disappear. Guilt for disappearing, for not replying, for being the “unreliable one.” I feel like I am being too much and still not enough. It’s like I require more than I’m able to give, that imbalance makes me feel broken in a way that’s hard to describe. I think that's why I keep my distance. I want to be enough, just as I am, but I don't want to be rescued, fixed or handled with gloves. I just want to be seen and still chosen. You can be doing everything right, taking help, showing up, trying to stay grounded and still feel like a ghost in your own life. I know I’m lucky to have help, doctors, nurses, people who care. But I feel like I’m letting them down. I hate that I can’t just “be better” for the people who believe in me. For taking people’s time and care and not getting better fast enough. I’m quietly apologizing for failing to recover. You can be surrounded by things you love and still feel a little bit gone. It’s such a strange place to be, trying to understand why people can’t fully understand you, and at the same time completely understanding why they can’t. I spend so much time trying to understand myself, tracing every reaction back to its roots. I'm searching for some kind of map that explains why I keep getting lost. And then there’s that quiet fear that this might just be it, that I’ll never really “get better,” just learn to exist between the highs and the lows, always on the edge of something. "Others have it worse." I know that. I've always known that. I keep choosing solitude and then ache for it to end.. ✌️💀
