Would be tough but if I work remotely I wouldn't mind. I like travelling and plan to do so, as much as possible..would also like to follow my passion of doing a travelling job, so, it could work. I think it's important for both people to follow their dreams and be supported through it.

No. They're there for work. Even if I did tag along, I'd be essentially traveling alone. I'm also too much of a homebody 🤣. Vacation is one thing, but I'm not someone that would want travel to be my day to day. If by some chance I ever ended up in this situation to begin with, I would encourage them to live their life and I would move on.

Unless they can afford to take me along, or visit once every 3 months, it would not work. They better be good at spending quality time together and checking in. I don't want to become a villain in their life with my expectations. I don't need fancy food or events, they probably would lol. I don't have a problem finding things to do on my own and typically do so in advance, or I can be spontaneous. I don't think I would need to meet everyone they do or even attend their events. I've met consultants who travelled a lot for their jobs in the past in a similar scenario. They would either party with strangers or be lonely but they definitely had a hard time meeting the expectations to keep long term relationships.

I’m in the military so I’m the partner that is touring quit a bit. If I had a partner who also toured for work or music or anything I’d be 100% supportive. I’m not a jealous partner and I trust people 100% when I shouldn’t lol. So I would trust them till I got hurt. Story of my life with dating tho ahah

Like, the travel and new experiences would be dope, but dang, the long-distance and unpredictable schedules might get tough sometimes. It would take a lot of patience and trust and many compromises. It may work for some but not for all. Both partners would benefit by being the type of person who is fine with having a significant amount of time by themselves. It is something that is likely much easier to do is with technology now.

It's different when they work abroad with artists, or just have "fancy meetings" in another country. If I could, I would follow along. But my own choice of work would limit me. Once you start a family, it would be hard to be present for the kids if work requieres a lot of travel.
