I often face a lot of problems being an intro. It's like people just don't understand our feelings. My parents keep forcing me to socialize when i have social anxiety. I know man is a social being and can't live alone..but it's just ao hard for me to socialize, i am actually happy..when i am alone..i love the peace and tranquil that comes when i am alone. I would sit in a corner in a function and enjoy it rather than bringing myself to socialize and dance in front of all the people.

Extroverts get anxious pretty quickly. They need a lot of attention and they can't recharge like introverts do. They have no idea what is it like to be an introvert. Introverts prefer to go deeper while extroverts are rather casual. Extroverts skill to be alone is weak. They feel so lonely. Introverts over 25 are very likely going to get bored if they don't socialise enough. Maybe you should try socialising more. It doesn't have to be a lot. Whatever happens you can always recharge afterwards.

I think it depends on the people you surround yourself with or the type of work you do. I work at a company where I'm perhaps 1 of 2 people that are extroverted, while the other 20 or so members are all introverted. Almost everyone on the team works remotely and insists that everything should be async and just typed in chat or shared docs. I think if you are able to find a place to work at similar to where I'm at, you might feel more at home. It becomes much easier once you move out on your own too.

I understand. I come from a big family with me being the youngest. I'm often told I'm being mean or standoffish and I'm not trying to be mean or anything I just can't understand social cues and coming from a big family they don't understand were the anxiety come from especially in comparison to my siblings or cousins. Now days problem is that people thinks that being introvert is not talking to any other people....so here is my theory according to it....introvert is not a such big thing that usually a family or friend assumes that they don't like talking to new people...but the truth is that they also like to talk to new people but the problem is they might have a difficult way to say it that I want to talk to you. They usually nod their face or sometimes just smiles and laugh. That's totally normal. Because you are new to that introvert guy or girl they might not used to this things. Give them time they will open up in sometime .

I believe it to always be a weird expectation that comes with people for some reason thinking that everyone should socialize and it'll make them happy and although the crowd is good in the moment and memories can be made. Just being comfortable reading a book alone or the relief after everyone leaves is always good. Dont really remember where I was going probably along the lines of parents want to witness their children happy and with others to help them gain confidence that they'll do well and have people they can rely on even if they aren't there but don't realize introverts have their own way and can still find those people.
