Serious talk. I thought that the only obstacle would be that, you know? Finding the one? But after i matched with this guy on Boo, i realized that life just doesn't give us that much time anymore on this modern days. Our house aren't exactly close to each other, my work finishes at 6.30 pm. At that point he'd be too tired and I'd be too tired, so a dinner date on weekdays is just impossible. And then on weekends i already have a set of activities that I'm committed to, i won't go into details but on both Saturday and Sunday they take up at least half of the day. Usually i can only go on dates with him on Saturday afternoon. Man, i wish we'd just have more time to ourself in life, wouldn't that be great? Thanks for listening to my rant. (edited)

I think it's hard to find "the one" because "the one" doesn't exist. We've been programmed to think that we all have one special soul mate and only that person will ever be compatible with us, but the reality is love isn't a feeling, and relationships aren't a fairytale. Love is a choice, you choose to accept and show up for that person every day. Relationships are work and we're all so obsessed with finding love that we forget that our partners or potential partners aren't supposed to fulfill every aspect of our lives, and they are also whole and complete individuals on their own.
