My happiest childhood memories center around my family. We always ate meal together, sharing stories and laughter.Sundays were for church, a peaceful start to the week. I loved climbing our guava tree after school, enjoying the fruit and fresh air. Playing with friends, sometimes getting into little 👊 fights, was all part of the fun. Summers were special, spent on my dad's navy ship, a whole world of adventure. Life was simple then; no worries about money, relationships, or failures.But most of all, what I miss most is that we were all together.It was a time of pure joy and freedom, and I often wish I could go back.

i remember Once when i was in school, i attended my first play, which was based on the story of Snow white before the play was on, me and two of my friends went to spy on the cast room. 😅 They were preparing for the show. and i remember i loved the play and the best part is they Re-do the play for other students it was really fun to watch.

I don't need to go back, but if I could have similar happenings at my current age... Age 11, getting a 3 hour flight safety training on an aircraft carrier, including the and then same day gyro-seat thing, then getting to ride along in one of the Blue Angel jets during a practice flight before Seattle's Seafair. Slingshot take-off and cable-brake landing... Can't really do this now because of my health... Age 15 at a summer (day) camp, went camping on a local island, then went ocean kayaking in a saltwater bay. While I was out in the middle of the bay a sea otter decided to tug and play with my oar for 10 minutes. I then paddled out a few hundred feet more before my kayak was bumped by an orca (k*ller whale). Pod was circling me, the one that bumped me pokes its face out near me. In fear of being eaten, I washed my hands in the water, and booped the snoot and then petted it... Thinking to let it smell me like when introducing yourself to a cat or dog... It dips down and then back up, this time opening it's mouth, this time I touched it's tongue. After this it dips down and then bumps the underside of the kayak again as it swam away... Each member of the pod did the same one after the other as they swam away... Later that night had a bonfire on the beach and was able to see the stars unrestricted by light pollution.

Maybe when the cat of one of my best childhood friends (still one of my best friends) climbed a thorny tree, my twin was there too, and we asked all the adults who were walking by to help us but since the cat was hiding very well they couldn't see it and ignored us, so I ran out of patience and climbed the tree, yes, the thorns were scratching and stinging me, and we didn't realize that a lady had called the firefighters to rescue the cat, and they arrived almost in the middle of my rescue, anyway I got the cat back and the firefighters were very kind, they helped me get down, they made sure I didn't have serious injuries and everyone congratulated me for my bravery, I was 7 years old, but I felt like a heroine.

I think when I was my grandpa and all my family together having this big dinners with my whole family where we would eat “fancy” food for the occasion 🥰 now I laugh because I can buy the same food anytime for myself, but I don’t because I still want to make it special so I buy it only on some occasions

For some reason, I keep thinking about dial up internet. Growing up, the internet wasn't as easily accessible, it was a place you went to, and used your time there wisely. In an era when you are always expected to be available and reached via a smartphone, I am nostalgic for a time when logging off was the norm.
