Only 3? I guess I can do 3. 1) If/when in a relationship, I will not fight for your time. Either you want to build and establish something or you don't (for whatever reason). 2) If you believe the grass is greener somewhere else, go explore greener pastures. No love lost where there ain't none found. 3) There should be no outside voices making definite decisions in our relationship. My partner and I are a unit. We decide how things go within our dynamic. No one else.

Communication is key. That's most important by far. Everything else is a lot easier with great communication.

1. Cheating - If someone always cheats, then that person should be single. Forever single for real. Lying is included here I guess because when someone cheats,there's a huge possibility that that person will lie as well. 2. Communication- Not having an open communication will lead to smaller arguments which lead to bigger arguments and might pile up and may cause the break up. 3. Understanding/ Listening to each other - I have noticed that most failed relationships caused by not listening and understanding GENUINELY to their partner's needs, wants, problems, etc. I want my future boyfriend or husband to listen to me and I will definitely do the same to him.

1. Open to relationship research, couple counselling/coaching sessions, relationship workbook, connection courses, couple retreats... I value learning mindset & look for a learning buddy. 2. No smoking (I am allergic to smoke)/marijuana/STDs. A decent sexual/emotional/physical health. There could be mental disorders or any trouble as long as they are working on that with professional help. 3. Conflict management skills. Shutting down, ghosting, personal attack, gaslighting, conflict avoidance, blaming, shaming, contempt (include cynicism, name-calling, eye-rolling, sneering, mockery, and hostile humor), victimization (warding off their part of an issue)...there could be rooms for them to improve but I won't be around. It kind of depends. Everything is potentially negotiable to me. I would say honesty but we all lie at times and sometimes there is good reason to. I could say respect, but respect is earned so I shouldn't get it when I don't deserve it. Maybe humor, I don't think it would feel right if I can't make you smile and laugh.

Before I tell my 3 non-negotiables, let me be clear that this is also what I expect from myself because I have seen many instances where people expect only others to follow their expectations. So these are my non-negotiables in case of a marriage : 1. Loyalty. ( Loyalty doesn't mean you cling to me all the time and boast me all the time, it's about respecting the person no matter what circumstances you are going through ) 2. Honesty/Transparency. 3. Supportive/Uplifting/Understanding the other perspective.

Communication. No assumptions. No guess work. Just talk to me. Tell me what you want. Tell me how you feel. Tell me if you change your mind about something. Tell me even if you aren't sure or don't know something. Communication. Be healthy. I'm not saying work out, lose weight, etc unless it's hurting you and your doctor is saying you need to. But just, go to the doctor for your check ups. Be reasonable with unhealthy food/drink/activities. That type of thing. Don't try to hurt me.
