My father served as a helicopter mechanic in the army and he allowed me to go play on the helicopters when he was assigned to a medevac units. I fell in love with both but since I couldn't fly helicopters I became a medic in the military

At around 7yrs old I used to really enjoy watching the clouds and figure out what kind of shape they were making. I would never miss a sunset and I had a favorite tree. To this day I make an effort to be present and enjoy the little moments, like a good sunset or a nice view😊

My grandfather was an artist, he instilled in me a love for art since childhood, I liked it when we looked at books with paintings by various artists together. Now I also want to connect my life with creativity.

Took me awhile to shuffle through them, but I guess I can think of the times where I used to write hand drawn comic books on notebook paper in Elementary school. The thing is I was writing them for another kid who sold them. I don't think it was for real money, school tickets or something. The teachers shut that down real quick. God forbid children learn business skills. However, writing has always been a part of me, and now I'm pursuing storytelling as a career.

I believe most truly transformative childhood experiences are negative ones, sad as that is to say. That's why people who never face adversity and live a sheltered childhood often come out rather one-dimensional in the way they think

I have some that made an impact, but they weren't good. Kinda hard to pick my favourite from that 😄🙃 I'm sure there are some good memories too, but I don't think they necessarily shaped me.

I think it was when I was watching a documentary on string theory and how the very fabric of reality held together by the vibration of 10 dimensional strings is so fragile that it could tear away everything I ever knew in matter so unimaginably violent gave me existential dread from a young age and just a fear of life itself.

Me and a friend caught a snake. The snake puked up a toad. The toad was still alive. Defining childhood moment right there 🤣

When I was 4 years old I lived with my grandmother. Her basement was haunted. My sister and I would look through all the tings stored there that belonged to my dead grandfather. Whenever we would take something upstairs to our room in the attic, in the middle of the night it would magically return to where we found it. Soon, as I was going upstairs carrying a new find I could feel him grabbing at my back, which was terrifying. So the memory, my favorite, is the game I used to play, where I would grab something from the back, and RUN!! as fast as possible, racing the ghostly hand, and see if I could beat it. I never won, but I kept trying. It was scary-fun.

Being on the road in the rig with my dad during his custody time. Saw most of the u.s by the time I was 12. Now I'm a 4th generation trucker and still get those nostalgic feelings when I'm behind the wheel.

The day I watched a YouTube video of Tobuscus (Toby Turner) talking about his depression and his daily struggles he deals with. It inspired me to be a content creator, has driven me to at least try and build a community as well that's fun and welcoming to people, while giving everyone hopefully something to do and enjoy

I Was 10 years old the first time I heard "you oughta know" from Alanis Morissette. Even though I've heard some rock beforehand, that song was the first time in my life that I felt some kind of emotional reaction (keep in mind I was 10) to music. It changed my life forever and eventually I became a rock musician because of my love and respect for it.

Making homemade raviolis for Christmas with my family. It really sparked my love for food and cooking and connected me to my family and then losing my uncle and grandmother very close together really made me value time with people more.

Favorite? Well every week or so I'd get some money to go buy candy. (not a lot mind you, barely enough to get a piece of candy from the corner convenience store.) and i learned the value of saving up for bigger purchases (like instead of gum I'd save up for a chocolate bar)

My childhood was next to non existant. I was taken from my mother at 5 over lies cps made about my living conditions, adopted into an abusive home that used me and my siblings for slave labor, finally got out, was bounced from home to home, each saying they would love us, then kicking us out, until I was 16 and I got adopted again to a strict couple whose mission was to teach me all the life skills I wasn't taught early on because nobody actually gave a damn about us.

Mr. Solloway. Ps 180. I was in ESL because I couldn't speak English very well. My parents are deaf and ASL was my first language. Did not use spoken English very much until I was about 5 or 6. He used to read us scary stories to tell in the dark. My favorite. He was the best. Favorite one was the woman who scared herself to death.

Honestly, not sure. I can think of things that I've done or went through to make me who I am today. Like working at my dad's shop when I was only 10 just trying to make money for a game lol. Or hanging around bad friends who I got in trouble with stealing a fourwheeler 🤣. Growing up a lone wolf learning things on my own I guess lol idk

It's summer time, very hot, and you feel like doing a nap. Leaving all doors and windows open, to get some fresh air. When you wake up, you see a black panther on top of you, starring into your eyes, her jaws showing big teeths, like ready to bite. What do you do ?
