I have a reccuring dream of myself riding on the subway to get away from a dude who looks like Baraka from Mortal Kombat only dressed in a 3 piece suit. he is standing in wait at every station I reach though. He doesn't speak but just stares at me with a horrible fang-laden smile. The only thing I can think during the dream is that I need to get "there" not sure why or where "there" even is. The dream always leaves me feeling weird and uncomfortable. Also used to have vivid nightmares about accidentally driving Into a body of water and drowning, but those dreams stopped shortly after my time in the Navy. Those were terrifying. The above dream is just. Unsettling.

I used to dream of a specific house. It is in a state of disrepair, somewhere deep in the woods, nature reclaiming the rooms and I always dreamt of one room with peeling flower wallpaper and a pool of water in the center. I never went into the water though

Only nightmares unfortunately. Afterwards I'm awake for hours telling my dream like a story and changing the ending to something better. If that's not possible, I go read or watch something to take my mind off it til I forget it.

Reoccurring dream of waiting in an underground metro station and boarding it. Werdly enough I don't ever remember where I was going or what I was doing there eveyrtime I wake up. The strangest part is that when I have this dream it feels very real like a memory of a place I've been to before. I've asked my parents if we've ever been on an underground metro before and they said "no". Been having this strange dream since I was like 12ish

Yes.. Growing up, probably in my early teens I had a very similar one that happened every once in a while at least 4 times. I was living mostly with my mother at the time, though my dad had partial custody of me. In my dream I always had to save my mother from some evil force that was trying to kill her. I only remember 2 of the evil beings though, ninjas, and aliens. In the end though, they never got to her and I saved the day.

There's an abandoned multi-story not-so-funtime-water-park my brain made up to play out flight scenarios. I've fled the police there, rushed to work, searched for my clothes, just me going from water slide to water slide, underscored by late 00's David Guetta, the smell of chlorine and foot fungus, and cheap RGB pool LEDs. The exit is located at the men's locker room, hidden behind a moldy sink. Once I go through, the dream stops. Still, not my worst commute.

I have a recurring theme for sure. It always starts with me learning that a kid is in so.e kind of danger and I go looking for them. The kid usually ends up being a little girl. I find her cowering in a corner and I try to comfort her. She tells me to turn around and theres always some creature standing there. I stand to face it and it attacks me. It always pins me down but before it can kill me it looks up from me, screeches, and runs away. The dreams always ends with the little girl looking at me with red eyes and a smile. She helps me up and I wake up. I got no fckin clue....

I have multiple recurring dreams. The one I had last night was about being on a water flume ride that weaved gently around a sea/lakeside sculpture museum of fictional Aquatic monsters, and closed down carnival rides that weren't removed. At the end of the tour it finally reaches a tall conveyor lift that presumably takes the flume ride to a massive drop before letting you off. But I always wake up before reaching the top

Not so much a recurring dream per-say, more like dreams that occur in the same place I guess? I've dreamt of the same place for years, so I can remember it clearly. Somehow I seem to dream through different perspectives although I do lucid dream frequently. A lot of dreams I have involve being near the waterside around a small village or flying in the air if I'm not acting out whichever character role I'm in- and I'm always aware I am me and the person I'm "playing" is someone else. The weird thing though is that the town seems to connect to different worlds and by crossing through a bridge/gateway, I can come and go into them and see different things, events and places. The town in my dreams is an old European town I've never been to that seems to be on a cliffside, but at times seems to have a bit of a "Steampunk meets nature" feel, if I had to describe it...it's a blend of cultures, but the buildings seem to be largely Mediterranean and Eastern European. There's cobblestones all throughout the town, and a Beach with white sand that reflects the colors of the sky, and sometimes a port. And the woods are always very peaceful around the town. Although some of the plant and animal life are strange...typically it is dusk, sunset or dawn, but once in awhile appears to be mid afternoon. A couple places I seem to frequent recently are a Clocktower-turned-home, and a bar near the waterside that most of the characters in my dreams seem to wind up in. There is also a middle-eastern style market with a public stage for music and dance, and a Cafe and street full of shops and amenities. The bar is usually dimly lit but classy, and feels a bit like an apothecary shop at times. There's a karaoke stage and time seems to not really happen there. I like Jazz music, so that seems to play frequently there. I tend to avoid going near the waterside when it appears as a port because there are sharks outside the gates. I dislike sharks, so I think those are worries I don't want to face. I typically remember my dreams very vividly, and I often talk with a male whose face I can never see, but who seems to recognize me no matter what character I am in the dreams. Following psychology, I'm pretty sure it's my inner animus that I talk to- the masculine side of a woman's subconsciousness. He actually offers pretty sound advice and seems to be a bit protective of me if the dream becomes a nightmare. I like his voice. (edited)

The only recurring dreams I have are nightmares. Had them a lot more frequently when I was younger tho, so that's a good thing. But still kinda sad to think about how they all somehow was about fear of abandonment, or general anxiety🙃

I had dreams of myself running away from someone (a monster or someone I didn't want to meet) and trying to fly away from that place but failed to do so. What I couldn't shake off was the feeling of longing for someone I had encountered. That dream has continued for some time.

I tend to have a few recurring dreams. Tw: mentions of sharks, spiders, deep bodies of water and murder. 1). There is a dream I have where I am stuck in the middle of the ocean. No one is around me, it’s pitch black and there are multiple sharks swarming around me in circles. I somehow manage to get away and swim over to a mini ‘island,’ that only has space for one person with a palm tree that has a few coconuts. As i’m curled up beside this tree a shark jumps at me but I always wake up before anything happens. 2). My family and I are in this weird, abandoned factory, it’s nighttime and we’re severely afraid because ‘ghost-face,’ is on the hunt. He ends up killing my family and just as he’s about to slit my throat I wake up. 3). I have nightmares about something from my old home. Little bit of a background: There were spiders that were on the side of the wall and they’d always get it through my AC which frightened me because I have severe arachnophobia, but anyways for some unknown reason (in the nightmare) my brother and I decided that the best way to get rid of the spiders was by wetting them off the house with a hose and surely enough, we did it but it went wrong. Our bodies were SWARMED with spiders. They were in our mouths, our ears, our clothes, hair, everything! I wake up panting whenever I have this nightmare because I just can’t. 4). This one isn’t scary, but I tend to dream of a seesaw from my childhood. It turns over to a roundabout I used a lot as a kid. I’m on this roundabout and it continues to spin, faster and faster and I can’t make it stop, so instead I start to float and get further and further away from the roundabout before slowly making my way down before it stops.
