During a date I had a plan to sneak into the school stadium at night. To do this I had to climb the metal fence. They weren't chain link but instead long columns of metal close together with an arrowhead like tops. I had done this before and it was no biggie. But that night it had rained slightly and I didn't take it into consideration. Long story short, with the girl waiting there for me to climb the fence and open the gate from the inside. I slipped as I reached my hand for the top of the fence. With my entire bodyweight falling down the spiked top of the column went straight through a section of my hand ripping the rest of the flesh as I fell to the ground. Spent a good section of the evening in the hospital waiting to be tended to. The girl stayed for a few hours but left cause it was getting late. She didn't talk to me again. ๐ (edited)

I was in Beijing and feeling down. I spent seven weeks in China on a cultural exchange, with the final week being in Beijing. I knew just enough Chinese to tell a vendor their offer was too expensive and to say "I am an American". When I get down, I take a walk. So I walked for about an hour. At that point I realized that I didn't have any idea where I was and no idea where I was staying (I knew it was a local university, but I couldn't remember which one). I had left my passport and money in my room. So, I had to figure out how to get back ....

Paranormal: After working for over 13 hours one day in my early 20s, I went back to my parents' house to watch the dogs. I ended up falling asleep on the couch. I woke up to the lights being turned off and a blanket being thrown over me. I saw a tall shadow walking away and to my parents bedroom. I assumed it was my step-dad, home from work early and didn't register the dogs not barking like they usually did. I remember hollering out, "you could've woken me up" before walking my butt to my old room. When I woke up, no one was home and when I called to talk to my parents, they were still out of town. All doors and windows were locked, but all lights were turned off. Teen Rebellion: When I was in middle school, I got my belly button pierced in a bathroom stall at church during the Super Bowl. Professional: After a concert, one of my old security guards with PTSD got into it with one of our janitorial staff and pulled a gun on him. One of our security and I were forced to talk them down. I have others but those are the biggest ones that don't delve into trauma ๐

I was 24 and sleeping on my friends couch for the night. We had just celebrated their birthday with some Croatian Spaghetti. I wake up middle of the night and I can't feel my right arm or leg. I spend a good 2 hours trying to wake it up. I yell for help, pass out, come to in an ambulance, pass out, come to in an mri machine, pass out and come to in a hospital bed surrounded by friends and family from all over the US. I'd had a brain aneurysm. I spent the next month in the hospital learning to use my right side again. I have no recollection of the helicopter ride I paid for. My friend came to sit next to my right side on my hospital bed and I winced as though it hurt. He felt so bad and I was laughing because that side was numb, I couldn't feel a thing. My brother came with a shirt that said "I used to have an open mind but my brains kept falling out" After I left the started waiting tables in Yellowstone National Park. The End

I was working a shift at my coffee shop. Normally I'm a closer, but they asked me to come in the next morning to cover for someone who called out. I was a bit of a pushover so I said sure. Fast forward 2 hours later, the morning rush is here. 3 people called out (one of which I covered for), so we were understaffed and overworked. There's a line out the door and cars are wrapped around the building. Then a man pulled up to the drive through. I was still brewing a fresh pot of coffee (since the last one was gone in an instant), so I tried to stall for time, "Hi sir, how are we today," I asked, already preparing the next order. "Well, I'd be a lot better if I didn't have to wait 10 minutes for a f****** coffee," he snapped at me. At this point people are yelling at the front register, and I admit I lost my cool, "Tell someone who cares," I snapped back. Clearly this wasn't the right answer, and I admit it. But that did not justify what came next. The man proceeded to pull away, come inside, and threaten to not only break every window in the store, but bomb the location. All because I wasn't able to give him a coffee and turn the other cheek. Needless to say, I admit what I said was wrong. But customer service workers are people too, and given the situation, I think the customer was more out of line.

Long story short, a few years back I might have had an intoxicated tumble down a flight of stairs... Somehow I managed to stumble and limp around the rest of the night. Until my boyfriend picked me up and took me to the emergency room. Come to found out, I had broken my ankle in 3 places and broken my shin bone. Not my proudest moment, that's for sure. But now looking back, I get a good laugh out of my drunken stupidity.๐

I had a dream that I vividly recall. It was some apocalypse. The shortened form of why it was 'wild' ~ I grew to be an old man in this dream, in what felt like real time ~ a dream that lasted for 50 years. Died of old age surrounded by a family I didn't have ~ woke up, looked in the mirror, and didn't recognize myself. The dream seemed real. I questioned my reality for awhile after waking.

When I am 4 years old, I drink bleach liquid, after that I throw up a lot, my mom who sees me immediately lift me up and carrie me outside then run across the soccer field so she can reach my father workplace faster, when she reached my father workplace she asked the security there to help bring me to the nearest hospital, I spent a couple of days in the ICU ๐ค

I one time was watching a vid in class and my teacher and my teacher said something incredibly racist. Of course me being zoned out watching a video I heard the vid say "the Nintendo DS is a solid portable device" and I said at the exact moment somehow of the racist comment "preach to the choir on that one". I will never forget that moment of embarrassment ๐

I was in a medically induced coma and had brain surgery and when I woke up I couldnโt remember anything for my regular life but I could remember the whole book โAmerican Psychoโ by Brett Easton Ellis. When the doctors asked things like, whatโs your name, where do you live, what do you do, Iโd reply from lines from the book and everyone thought I had split personality disorder and had me tied to the bed, with security watching all day and night. It wasnโt until my roommate came to visit me and debriefed the doctors that I was quoting a book and that everything that I say is normal and I didnโt have split personality disorder, I was just being an asshole as usual ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
