Am I in the wrong for wanting a "Happy Mothers Day" from my boyfriend?
HE BROKE UP WITH ME BTW, THIS IS JUST TO HELP ME CONFIRM OR NOT..I have been a mother to my only child for the last 4-5 years now and dont talk to family (toxic) or have any friends (long story for another day, they dont like kids). When Me and my Boyfriend got together a few months back at the time.....I was feeling really sad that week around mothers day and then the day came, I didnt hear or see a "happy mother day" from anyone. NOW I know I aint THEIR Mothers... but just those 3 words would have done something to make me feel less lonely and unappreciated since my son cant speak yet to tell me himself but to hear your own boyfriend say "well, you're not my mother and I genuinely forgot".... for the record, he didnt forget, no one forgets christmas and thats once a year, no one forgets easter and yet he has too many female family members to forget and they are all close enough to know. My boyfriend did a nice thing and got me a card last year, so I dnno why was this year different?? He didnt have alot going on in his life and all I wanted was 3 words from him as I didnt have anyone else? But he tried to justify how stupid that was and pointless...so me surviving my labour and pushing out a child and raising him alone before you came along is stupid and pointless?....Was I in the wrong to ask for this and get upset about it? Honestly please 😣 I just need to know if I was unreasonable or not 🙏🏻 Thank you for taking time to read this, I really appreciate it 🍀

You were not in the wrong. You deserve all the love in the world for being such a strong and loving mum. Some people just can't understand it. Always remember your value and worth even if some people don't see it or appreciate it. How they act is more about them then about you. I have been a single mum for 12 years. It's definitely not a walk in the park. Stay strong. Love yourself. Wish you a belated Happy Mother's Day dear 🤗❤️
